This one of a kind necklace was handcrafted with a Willow Creek Jasper cabochon that was cut and polished in my studio. The cabochon is a mix of soft pinks, greens and lemon yellow. The patterns in this stone are beautiful, with patterns throughout the cabochon. Willow Creek Jasper comes from Idaho. It is sometimes called the "Queen of Jaspers" and comes in a wide range of colors and patterns. It takes a porcelain-like polish.
The stone is set in textured sterling silver and was given a soft charcoal patina. The pendant hangs from a double sterling silver chain, including textured and handmade links.
MEASUREMENTS: Stone and setting measures approximately 1-1/2" rounded square. Chain is 22" long.
All aspects of the design, including cutting and polishing the stone from rough rock, are created in my studio.
All jewelry includes a hang tag or earring card that includes information on the stones used for your piece and a brief description of the techniques used. Items also arrive gift-boxed and each piece of jewelry includes my maker's mark on either a silver tag or on the back of each piece.
