This one-of-a-kind necklace was created with Willow Creek Jasper and Pink Chalcedony cabochons that were hand cut and polished in my studio. Willow Creek Jasper comes from Idaho and is known for its mix of colors and patterns found in the rock. The Pink Chalcedony is actually "pink limb cast." This came from Texas and is wood that has been fossilized. The inside of the wood (or limbs) becomes agatized and forms a chalcedony.
I've set the cabochons in textured sterling silver and finished the piece with a soft charcoal patina.
MEASUREMENTS: Sterling silver chain measures 28" long and is finished with a handforged clasp. If you would like the chain shortened, please state so in the notes during checkout. Pendant and stone measures 2-3/4" tall by 1-1/4" wide.
All aspects of the design, including cutting and polishing the stone from rough rock, are created in my studio.
All jewelry includes a hang tag or earring card that includes information on the stones used for your piece and a brief description of the techniques used. Items also arrive gift-boxed and each piece of jewelry includes my maker's mark on either a silver tag or on the back of each piece.
