This one of a kind necklace was handcrafted with sterling silver and a premium and rare Morrisonite Jasper cabochon hand cut and polished in my studio. This is a highly collectible material and is found in Oregon. This cabochon shows all the classic and sought-after characteristics of Morrisonite - a wide range of colors and designs. The colors range from a soft tan background with splashes of pinks, greens and blues. There are no cracks or fractures in this stone - it is the actual design of the rock - streaks of different colors are found all throughout this stone. It looks like an abstract painting.
The cabochon is set in layered sterling silver and hangs from a heavy gauge textured sterling silver chain. The pendant and chain were finished with a soft charcoal patina.
MEASUREMENTS: Necklace measures 18" long. Stone and setting measures 1-3/8" square.
