This necklace was handcrafted with an Indian Paint Stone cabochon in gorgeous and rich autumn colors. This stone comes from Death Valley, California. The cabochon that I cut for this piece resembles a brick red autumn sky, yellow and orange sun and jet black branches in the foreground. I created and hand cast charm that also hangs from the chain. The sterling silver textured chain components were created by hand. The piece was finished with a soft charcoal patina.
MEASUREMENTS: Sterling silver chain measures 19" long. Pendant and stone measures 2" tall by just under 1" wide.
All aspects of the design, including cutting and polishing the stone from rough rock, are created in my studio.
All jewelry includes a hang tag or earring card that includes information on the stones used for your piece and a brief description of the techniques used. Items also arrive gift-boxed and each piece of jewelry includes my maker's mark on either a silver tag or on the back of each piece.
